Friends of Imperial Business College
As a student of Imperial Business College, you will automatically become a member of our student-led, democratic unit – Friends. The main objective of this independent unit is to bring forth the power of proximity and welcome everyone keen to share ideas, solve problems, and imagine new possibilities. By pooling together academic and entrepreneurial resources, Friends organizes a host of extra-circular activities, including sports competition, health camps, and socio-cultural visits throughout the year. These events offer valuable networking opportunities for our students as well as some memorable, stimulating and enjoyable aspects of college life.
Anubhav is an interactive initiative by Friends to deliver business education for the 21st century. Students will learn from professors and management researchers while interacting, networking and planning alongside entrepreneurs, social workers, scientists and other brilliant, creative individuals from around the country.
Imperial Fiesta is an exciting and dynamic festival designed to reflect the multifaceted cultures and values of the college. It’s a culmination of a series of events, like art competition and business workshops, leading up to the final fest. In harmony with our motto ‘Implying what you learn’, the annual program is also an opportunity to put in the groundwork and learn the know-how of organizing a large scale and successful fest.
Imperial Sports Carnival Week
Sports Week is conducted together by the students and staffs with shared enthusiasm and energy every year. At Imperial, sport is an integral part of the learning process. A wide range of indoor and outdoor games including football, badminton, chess, and tennis are conducted throughout the week leading to the grand finale. Through this event, we hope to instill the values of healthy competition and sportsmanship in our students.
Excursion / Educational Tour
Industrial visit has its own importance in a career of a student who is pursuing a professional degree. It is considered as a part of college curriculum and objectives of industrial visit is to provide students an insight regarding internal working of companies. We know,theoretical knowledge is not enough for making a good professional career. With an aim to go beyond academics, industrial visit provides student a practical perspective on the world of work. Following the same lines students of Imperial Business College gets an opportunity to insight how a business can be started and what are the challenges that come across while you run your own business.
